1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing this website and requesting services from Maverick Water Heaters ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or schedule services with us.

2. Services Provided

Maverick Water Heaters provides professional water heater installation, replacement, repair, and maintenance services, as well as water filtration and recirculation systems, to residential and commercial properties in the SF Bay Area (including San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, and San Francisco County, California).

3. Estimates and Pricing

• Phone Estimates: All estimates provided over the phone are preliminary, based on information supplied by the customer. A final, binding estimate will be provided only after our technician inspects the site and existing systems.
• Price Integrity: We strive to provide transparent, upfront pricing. If unexpected issues arise during installation (e.g., hidden code violations, rotten piping, structural challenges), we will discuss all associated costs and obtain your approval before proceeding.

4. Rebates and Utility Incentives

We help customers identify and process utility rebates, federal tax credits, and government incentives (e.g., TECH Clean California rebates for heat pump water heaters). While we handle all required paperwork on your behalf as a courtesy, final rebate approvals are subject to the policies of third-party program administrators. We make no guarantees of rebate payout approvals from these third parties.

5. Scheduling, Cancellations, and Site Access

• Access: The customer must ensure that our technicians have safe access to the work area (closet, basement, garage, etc.) on the scheduled date.
• Permits & Approvals: We handle standard local municipal building permits for new installations as part of our contracted scope unless otherwise specified.
• Cancellations: If you need to reschedule or cancel a service call, please give us at least 24 hours notice by calling (650) 400-2459.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless other terms have been pre-approved in writing. We accept the following payment methods:

7. Warranty and Guarantees

All plumbing products and water heater systems installed by Maverick Water Heaters carry manufacturer warranties (typically 6–10 years for tanks and heat pumps, and 12–15 years for tankless heat exchangers). We stand behind our work and provide a comprehensive labor warranty on our installation craftsmanship. Complete warranty terms will be printed on your final invoice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Maverick Water Heaters and its technicians shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including, without limitation, water damage from pre-existing faulty piping, structural defects, or homeowner neglect) arising from our service. Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service rendered.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
